OWN’s ‘Greenleaf’ is Back for Season 2 Tonight & So Are My Recaps! (Pics From Premiere Party)

The.Wait.Is.Ovaaaaaaa!

OWN’s Greenleaf is back TONIGHT (March 15) at 10pm ET/PT on OWN!

Earlier this week, OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network celebrated the second season of the hit series “Greenleaf” with a screening and after-party in Atlanta. Over 200 local influencers previewed the premiere episode at SCADShow and were then treated to a lively post-screening reception at the W Atlanta Midtown.

Attending from the cast were Lynn Whitfield, Keith David, Merle Dandridge, Deborah Joy Winans, Lamman Rucker, Kim Hawthorne, GregAlan Williams, Desiree Ross, Lovie Simone, T.C. Carson, Parnell Damone Marcano, Jason Dirden, Julian Brittano and “Greenleaf” executive producer Clement Virgo.
Additional guests included radio personality Willie Moore Jr, singer Latavia Robinson, social media star Not Karlton Banks, Rickey Smiley/Dish Nation host Gary Hayes, actor Kevin Savage (“The Quad”), gospel singer Micah Stampley and actress Reece Odum (“Saints & Sinners”).
“Greenleaf” premiered last June as the #1 series debut in OWN history and was 2016’s #1 new cable series for women, averaging over three million viewers in Live+3 in its first season.

Teddy and Tina Campbell (from Mary Mary) are debuting their new web series “10 Minutes with Teddy & Tina” TODAY.

A few years back, we opened up our lives, via our reality TV show, and showed the many perils of marital infidelity. Through our journey, we also showed that in honoring our vows to love each other through better and worse, God honored us with a stronger marriage, friendship, and family. We don’t just have the satisfaction of sticking it out and staying together; our marriage is God’s depiction of a beautiful love story that gets better by the day. And if it’s possible for us, it’s certainly possible for you.

Our journey has inspired us to help other marriages, families, and individuals by sharing our perspective on Life, Love, Family, and Faith via a new web series entitled “10 Minutes With Teddy and Tina”, that is premiering on our YouTube channel Tuesday, Feb 14th, Valentines Day!

Since it kicks off on Valentine’s Day, we’re going to kick it off with a discussion of LOVE. Listen folks, tests become testimonies so that we can testify and possibly encourage and inspire someone else on their journey, so that’s exactly what we intend to do. It’s fun, intriguing, insightful, grown & sexy, spiritual; it’s a really good #webseries but you should see for yourself by subscribing to our YouTube channel.

Hollywood Preacher DeVon Franklin & ‘War Room’s Priscilla Shirer to Appear on ‘The Dr. Oz Show’ Friday for ‘Faithful Fridays!’

Each Friday in February a new, first-of-its-kind segment on The Dr. Oz Show takes an intimate look at the intersection of faith and medicine. To explore body and soul, Dr. Oz is joined by author, speaker and preacher DeVon Franklin, whom Oprah Winfrey calls “a bonafide dynamo . . . a different kind of spiritual teacher for our times.”

Dr. Oz and DeVon Franklin will be joined by top faith leaders—Hispanic leader Samuel Rodriguez, New York Times best-selling author and star of War Room Priscilla Shirer, and Hillsong New York Pastor Carl Lentz—who add their voices to the natural link between spirituality and well-being.

Week 1—Feb. 3
Blessed 30 Challenge—30 Days of Healthy, Blessed Living

Dr. Oz, DeVon Franklin and their panel of faith leaders introduce The Dr. Oz Show to how faith can improve every area of your life and then conduct live interventions with people struggling with their faith.

“Faith and spirituality don’t live in a Sunday-sized compartment, or even weeklong just within the walls of a church building. Faith threads through every aspect of what makes life better,” says Dr. Oz.

In addition, my favorite Christian celebrity Sherri Shepherd is slated to appear and will share how she “has been coping with a serious health issue and the stress of headlines about her divorce. “

Also, DeVon Franklin and Priscilla Shirer’s father Dr. Tony Evans, pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, Texas, are two of a plethora of interesting speakers to be featured at the Proclaim 17, the NRB (National Religious Broadcasters) International Christian Media Convention to be held in Orlando, Florida Feb. 27-March 2.

Finally, DeVon Franklin recently received a book deal for his third book for “The Hollywood Commandments,” a spiritual guide for secular success which explores principles that will transform everything we think we know about God’s intention for our success by teaching us how to boldly live out the fullness of our calling in every area of our life: career, relationships and faith,” according to Publishers Marketplace.
