*Tune In Alert* Sherri Shepherd Stars in New Sitcom ‘Trial & Error’ Premiering Tonight on NBC!

Hello World,

My favorite Christian celebrity Sherri Shepherd, who was featured in my book  “After the Altar Call: The Sisters’ Guide to Developing a Personal Relationship With God,” is a moving target, chile! Tonight she returns to the sitcom arena starring as researcher, Anne, in “Trial & Error” at 10 pm EST/9 pm Central on NBC! I’m sure her first career as a legal secretary in Los Angeles helped her to prepare the role!

The show synopsis is below…

In the spirit of true crime documentaries, this outrageous fish-out-of-water comedy centers on bright-eyed New York lawyer Josh Segal (Nicholas D’Agosto), who heads to a tiny Southern town for his first big case. His mission? To defend an eccentric “rollercizing” poetry professor (John Lithgow) accused of the bizarre murder of his beloved wife. Settling into his makeshift office behind a taxidermy shop and meeting his quirky team of local misfits, Josh suspects that winning his first big case will not be easy, especially when his client is always making himself look guilty.

The cast also includes Jayma Mays, Steven Boyer and Krysta Rodriguez.

Jeff Astrof and Matt Miller serve as writers and executive producers. Jeffrey Blitz directs and also serves as an executive producer. “Trial & Error” is produced by Barge Productions and Good Session Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.

OWN Runs ‘Greenleaf’ Season 1 Marathon TODAY, Complete Season 1 Also On Netflix Starting March 3!

I promise you I’m not on the OWN “Greenleaf” payroll although I’ve dedicated several posts to “Greenleaf” since the show was announced some time ago! I really just enjoy the show! If you’ve never seen the show or you just want to be refreshed on what happened during its explosive Season 1 before season 2 kicks off on Wednesday, March 15 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, today is the day!  All 13 episodes of Season 1 of “Greenleaf” will air on OWN starting today, Feb. 19,  at 10am/9c! Also, you can catch up on the show’s complete first season on Netflix beginning March 3!

The Greenleaf family tree will split at the root as Jacob (Lamman Rucker, “Why Did I Get Married?”) ventures off to begin his new career with long-time rival church Triumph Ministries, breaking faith with his father, Bishop James Greenleaf (Emmy-winner Keith David, “Community”) while his mother, Lady Mae Greenleaf (Golden Globe nominee and Emmy-winner Lynn Whitfield, “The Josephine Baker Story”), struggles with Jacob’s decision to abandon the family. Meanwhile, after exposing her Uncle Mac’s (GregAlan Williams, “The Accountant”) crimes, but failing to bring him to justice, Grace “Gigi” Greenleaf (Merle Dandridge, “The Night Shift”) finds herself intrigued with someone new, Darius Nash (guest star Rick Fox, “Dope”), a local journalist who’s been closely following the ongoing threats plaguing the Greenleaf empire. Oprah Winfrey (“Selma”) also returns in her guest starring role as Mavis McCready, the sister of Lady Mae Greenleaf and a close confidante to Grace Greenleaf.

Again, the first eight episodes of the new season will debut on Wednesday, March 15 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.  The remaining eight episodes of the series’ second season will air in summer 2017.  “Greenleaf” premiered last June as the #1 series debut in OWN history and was 2016’s #1 new cable series for women, averaging over three million viewers in Live+3 in its first season.

Teddy and Tina Campbell (from Mary Mary) are debuting their new web series “10 Minutes with Teddy & Tina” TODAY.

A few years back, we opened up our lives, via our reality TV show, and showed the many perils of marital infidelity. Through our journey, we also showed that in honoring our vows to love each other through better and worse, God honored us with a stronger marriage, friendship, and family. We don’t just have the satisfaction of sticking it out and staying together; our marriage is God’s depiction of a beautiful love story that gets better by the day. And if it’s possible for us, it’s certainly possible for you.

Our journey has inspired us to help other marriages, families, and individuals by sharing our perspective on Life, Love, Family, and Faith via a new web series entitled “10 Minutes With Teddy and Tina”, that is premiering on our YouTube channel Tuesday, Feb 14th, Valentines Day!

Since it kicks off on Valentine’s Day, we’re going to kick it off with a discussion of LOVE.
