This brother and his wife own 17 McDonald’s Franchises in the Greater Atlanta Area. That’s off the damn chain. I love stories of black people succeeding in life. So many of us are so successful in business ownership and life. We don’t get enough credit in this country for our successes and triumphs. There are so many black entrepreneurs who are very successful and doing well all day, every day. There are self employed black men who are barbers, own car wash detail businesses out of their vans, sell pastries, make juices, do landscaping with some tools and a pick up truck and provide a decent life for their families. I know this because I’ve given many of these black men my business. But you won’t hear a word about these men, because it’s so contradictory to the popular narrative of the poor, downtrodden, and dysfunctional black man in America who can’t get his shit together no matter how hard he tries, and he can’t do for self. That’s bullshit.
